LMSW/LCSW - THERAPIST/PATH COORDINATOR

COLUMBIA, MO

Position Overview: The Therapist/PATH Coordinator will provide diagnostic screening/triage services and/or external referrals for individuals seeking services, perform initial assessment and coordinate entry into internal programs based on eligibility, complete annual assessments for the Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program, and provide individual and group psychotherapy. The Therapist/PATH Coordinator will also collaborate with other program staff to coordinate aspects of the Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) Program including writing the annual report and participating on several community housing committees. The Therapist/PATH Coordinator will maintain accurate and complete documentation and participate in the agency’s Quality Improvement process. The Therapist/PATH Coordinator will work with the treatment team to provide crisis intervention to consumers who call or walk-in in crisis and will participate in the QMHP level of the after-hours on-call rotation (one week of on-call approximately every 5 weeks). Qualifications: Masters Degree in social work and currently licensed and receiving supervision as an LMSW or currently licensed in the State of MO as an LCSW.

PSYCHOSOCIAL REHABILITATION SUPERVISOR/QUALIFIED MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL (QMHP) - FULL TIME

COLUMBIA, MO

Position Overview: New Horizons is looking for a Full-time Psychosocial Rehabilitation Supervisor/QMHP/Screening Specialist to direct our day program for adults with mental illness and to provide screenings for new consumers in our Columbia, MO site. Duties include oversight and implementation of educational, recreational and vocational activities, providing therapy and psychoeducation groups, screenings, assessments and treatment planning. Supervision duties of a team of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialists and Peer Support Specialists. Work Hours and Benefits: Fulltime days Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with full benefits including medical insurance, paid holidays, paid sick & vacation leave, and a 403(b)-retirement plan. Participates in the supervisory on-call rotation- approximately one week every four weeks. Qualifications: This position requires a compassionate positive person with experience in mental health and a master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Vocational Counseling, Pastoral Counseling, or Family Therapy, and successful completion of a practicum or one year of experience under the supervision of a mental health professional or is an Occupational Therapist certified by the American Occupational Therapy Certification board, registered in MO. Immediate opening for a CERTIFIED Missouri Peer Specialist to provide peer support services to adults with serious mental illness in a community setting. Must have good communication skills to assist consumers with interpersonal and independent living skills. This position will promote skills for managing symptoms and be part of a treatment team. Additionally, this staff will lead educational, recreational and vocational activities at the center, on an as-needed basis. Hours: Part-time days Monday-Friday, approximately 20 hours/week between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm on a split shift.
